Land surveying in Oregon isn’t just a career for Dan—it’s a family legacy. Raised in Baker County, Dan practically grew up in the field, getting his start in the mapping industry at just 12 years old by working for his father’s GIS company. This early, hands-on immersion allowed him to be part of foundational regional projects, including collaborating with his father's firm to help build Payette County’s GIS mapping system from the ground up. This deep-rooted experience led Dan to the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT), where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Geomatics. Today, he brings over two decades of regional knowledge and technical expertise to DTI Land Surveying, a reputable provider of drone survey services. Strategically located on the Idaho-Oregon border, DTI is fully licensed to serve clients statewide across both Oregon and Idaho.
Combining foundational field accuracy with cutting-edge technology, Dan is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor and an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot. DTI bridges the gap between traditional land boundary determinations and modern aerial data collection, offering comprehensive services ranging from legal boundary disputes to high-accuracy drone surveys. Whether you are a city planner, a commercial developer, or a local homeowner, Dan and the DTI team deliver the legal accuracy and technical precision that your project demands.
